Golden Wings Apiary Honey

Terra and Bill Nordstrom are a husband and wife team.  They've been beekeeping for 8 years after starting a backyard hobby that has grown into a true passion. Their bee colonies are in North Raleigh and produce delicious, pure raw honey that is loved by their customers.

Their Blackberry honey is a special honey that only happens late in the season when the blooms have fallen from the flowers. The hungry bees search for food and find the blackberry bushes near the beehives that are full of juicy berries in late summer.  The bees found these berries and brought the juice of the over ripe berries back to their hives and incorporated it into this beautiful and delicious dark honey.  Still very sweet and smooth, there is a definite taste of berry!  

They can't direct or predict this event to happen but feel so fortunate when the bees provide us with the opportunity to enjoy this unique and delicious honey!
